MediReport to join Philips to advance the future of connected cardiovascular care
October 20, 2026

The cardiovascular workflow solution specialist trusted by more than 300 hospitals is expected to integrate with the global health technology leader.
October 20, 2026 – Paris, France – MediReport, a leader in cardiovascular information systems (CVIS), today announced that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA).
Cardiovascular care is becoming increasingly complex as patient volumes rise, staffing constraints grow and data and workflows remain fragmented. As healthcare providers seek more connected and efficient ways to deliver cardiovascular care, MediReport and Philips are a strong strategic fit.
By bringing together complementary technologies and expertise, MediReport and Philips aim to help healthcare providers break down silos across the cardiovascular care continuum, connecting data, workflows and clinical teams to deliver more efficient, seamless and patient-centered care.
Following the acquisition, MediReport’s advanced reporting and workflow capabilities are expected to complement Philips’ cardiovascular informatics portfolio toward a more connected, AI-enabled and cloud-ready cardiovascular experience. Combined with Philips’ expertise in cardiovascular imaging, hemodynamics, and enterprise informatics, these capabilities have the potential to further enhance care delivery across diagnostic and interventional care.
Founded by cardiologists for cardiologists, MediReport has spent more than 30 years building solutions around the day-to-day needs of cardiovascular teams.
CardioReport 360™, its cloud-based, vendor-neutral CVIS, supports structured reporting, clinical documentation, inventory management, registry participation and performance analytics across invasive and non-invasive cardiology, within a single integrated platform.
“For more than 30 years, MediReport has built solutions around the real needs of cardiovascular teams, with our customers helping shape our products and vision every step of the way. The combination of MediReport’s deep cardiovascular expertise and vendor-neutral platform capabilities with Philips’ global scale, innovation capabilities and healthcare technology portfolio creates a compelling strategic fit. To become part of Philips is an exciting milestone for MediReport and a strong recognition of the dedication and achievements of our team as well as the trust our customers have placed in us. Together, we will have the scale to extend our impact and continue advancing our mission: driving clinical excellence and efficiency in cardiovascular care, for clinicians and patients globally. We look forward to building the next chapter together.”
— Frédéric Darguesse, General Manager, MediReport
“Clinicians need technology that fits the way they work and gives them more time for patient care. The capabilities developed by MediReport complement Philips’ strengths in cardiovascular imaging, hemodynamics and enterprise informatics. Together, they are expected to simplify how information moves across cardiac care, enabling a more connected experience for care teams. This would also support Philips’ longer-term direction towards cloud-ready, AI-enabled cardiovascular and integrated diagnostics workflows.”
— Madhuri Sebastian, Business Unit Leader Imaging Informatics, Philips
Following today’s announcement, customers and partners can expect the same commitment, service and support from MediReport. MediReport will continue to serve its customers and partners through its existing team, leadership, contracts, products and support.
Completion is expected end of October 2026.
